The Delta State Police Command has taken a decisive stand against internal lawlessness, formally condemning the killing of a suspect and ordering an immediate trial for the officer responsible. The tragedy unfolded after a suspect, who had been taken into custody for questioning in the state capital, was fatally wounded by a discharge of a firearm.
