Ondo Police Arrest Three Suspects and Rescue Two Victims in Intelligence-Led Raid
Operatives of the Ondo State Police Command have recorded a major breakthrough in the fight against violent crime, arresting three suspected kidnappers and successfully rescuing two victims unhurt during a targeted tactical operation.
According to police sources, the breakthrough followed days of discreet surveillance and intelligence gathering after the victims were abducted from their location within the state. Acting on credible tips regarding the hideout of the criminal syndicate, tactical teams comprising conventional and mobile police operatives moved in on the forest enclave.
Upon storming the hideout, a brief exchange ensued before the operatives overpowered the captors, successfully apprehending three members of the kidnapping gang while securing the safe release of the two victims. The rescued individuals were immediately rushed to a police medical facility for evaluation and debriefing before being reunited with their families.
The Ondo State Police Command Public Relations Officer confirmed the arrests, noting that exhibits recovered from the suspects are currently aiding further investigations.
