Edo State Governor Shares Early Spiritual Journey at Church Service

Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, recently shared that he began his journey into spiritual activities as a teenager. He revealed that he started ‘casting out demons’ when he was around 17 or 18 years old.

Okpebholo made these comments while speaking to young people during a church service at The Votage Church. He reflected on his early experiences and the issues he faced, including insecurity and cultism.

He noted, ‘Fighting insecurities, especially cultism, is not a new thing to me. It is something that has been happening.’ His remarks highlight the ongoing challenges that young people face in the community.

The governor also mentioned the influence of the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, emphasizing how spiritual experiences shaped his background. During his visit, he discussed the importance of faith and spiritual guidance in leadership.

The lead pastor of the church welcomed Okpebholo and expressed gratitude for his presence. Prayers were offered for the progress of Edo State, and the pastor encouraged leaders to seek spiritual guidance while working towards peace and development.
