Atiku’s Son Abandons Father’s Party for APC; Endorses Tinubu for Second Term in Bold Move That Has Left Everyone Talking!

In a development that many thought was impossible, the family of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is now “divided” by politics. One of Atiku’s sons has officially dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) the very house his father helped build to join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

But he didn’t stop at just joining the party; he went a step further by throwing his full weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term bid. The news has spread like wildfire, with many asking: How does Atiku feel about this?

Addressing a crowd of APC supporters in Abuja, the younger Abubakar explained that his decision was not an attack on his father, but a vote of confidence in the future of Nigeria. He praised the Tinubu administration’s “bold” economic decisions and argued that the APC is currently the best platform to lead Nigeria to greatness.

“My father is my hero, but in politics, everyone must follow their own path,” he reportedly said. “I have seen the vision of this administration, and I believe it is only fair to give President Tinubu more time to finish the good work he has started.”

While the APC is celebrating this “big catch” as a major victory for their 2027 strategy, the PDP is trying to stay calm, insisting that one man’s defection even if he is the son of their leader cannot change the party’s destiny.
