Eid-el-Kabir: President Tinubu Calls for National Unity and Prayers for Troops

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged Nigerians to embrace unity, compassion, and collective responsibility during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations. In his message, he emphasized the importance of praying for the nation’s troops, who are making extraordinary sacrifices to ensure the country’s security.

“We must also pray fervently for our troops who are keeping us safe. They are making extraordinary sacrifices in the face of the challenges,” President Tinubu stated.

He also called on citizens to reflect on the values of sacrifice and obedience exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim, urging Nigerians to embody these virtues in their daily lives. The President highlighted the significance of unity and compassion in fostering national development and overcoming current challenges.

“Let us continue our prayers for our front-line officers, who risk their lives for our safety and security,” he added.

President Tinubu’s message aligns with sentiments expressed by other national leaders, including Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, who have also emphasized the need for unity, sacrifice, and prayers for the nation’s progress during this festive period.

The President concluded by reaffirming his administration’s commitment to implementing reforms aimed at economic recovery and national prosperity, urging Nigerians to remain hopeful and supportive of these efforts.
