Osun APC Chieftain Welcomes Rep. Wole Oke’s Defection from PDP, Hails Strategic Boost to Party
In a significant political development, Dr. Romeo Abdul Rasheed Muideen, a prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain from Olorunda Local Government Area of Osun State, has officially welcomed Hon. Oluwole Busayo Oke into the APC fold. Hon. Oke, who represents the Ijesa North Federal Constituency, announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during a plenary session at the National Assembly in Abuja on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
Dr. Muideen, also the Managing Director of Savewell Home and a notable real estate expert, expressed enthusiasm over Hon. Oke’s decision, stating that his inclusion is anticipated to bolster the APC’s initiatives and align with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at fostering development and improving the lives of constituents in Ijesa North and beyond.
