Otega and Kayikunmi Evicted in Shock BBNaija S10 Twist, Shaking Up Race for N150M Prize
The competition in the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house intensified on Sunday night as two housemates, Oghenetega “Otega” Eritomi and Oluwakayikunmi “Kayikunmi” Ajibade, were evicted from the reality show.
Their eviction was announced by the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during the live eviction show. Otega, a 32-year-old chef, was the first to leave the house, followed by Kayikunmi, a 25-year-old banker.
The pair’s departure came after they received the lowest number of votes from viewers. According to the voting chart, Otega and Kayikunmi were at the bottom with 1.22% and 1.26% of the votes, respectively.
In their exit interviews, both housemates reflected on their time in the house. Otega, who is also a photographer and software developer, expressed his plans to launch a TV show to explore Nigeria’s diverse food culture. Kayikunmi, known for his lively personality, admitted that he was saddened by the eviction but was ready to embrace new opportunities, particularly in acting.
The evictions of Otega and Kayikunmi follow the earlier exits of two other housemates and the voluntary withdrawal of another due to medical reasons. With their departure, the number of contestants vying for the grand prize of ₦150 million has now been reduced to 24.
