Mikel Arteta Signs New Contract with Arsenal Until 2030

Arsenal Football Club has announced that manager Mikel Arteta has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until June 2030. This decision comes after a successful campaign in the 2025-26 season, during which Arsenal won the Premier League title for the first time in 22 years.

Arteta, who became head coach in December 2019, has managed 361 matches and holds the highest win rate of any full-time manager in Arsenal’s history at over 62 percent. Under his leadership, the team secured its 14th league title and fourth Premier League championship.

The club’s co-chairs, Stan and Josh Kroenke, expressed their satisfaction with the contract extension, highlighting the strong bond they share with Arteta. They emphasized the importance of the previous season in the club’s history and their pride in the achievements made since Arteta’s return.

Richard Garlick, Arsenal’s CEO, stated that this extension is a crucial step towards establishing a period of sustained success for the club. He praised Arteta for his belief and determination to build something lasting at Arsenal.

Arteta himself shared his excitement about the extension, calling it a privilege to continue working with the club’s leadership, staff, and supporters. He expressed gratitude for the support from fans and confidence in the future.

Additionally, members of Arteta’s coaching staff have also agreed to renew their contracts, aligning their terms with the manager’s new deal. The club noted that the contract extension is still subject to regulatory processes.
