PDP Appeals to Police Chief Over Alleged Violence Against Members in Ebonyi

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reached out to the Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu, concerning alleged harassment and killings of its members in Ebonyi State.

Austin Nwachukwu, who leads the PDP state chairmen forum, shared this information during a meeting with the national working committee in Abuja on Tuesday. He expressed concern that supporters and candidates of the party are facing significant harassment from current state governors, which is hindering their ability to campaign effectively.

Nwachukwu stated that the petition would be submitted to the Inspector-General of Police later that day. The goal of the petition is to bring attention to the situation and seek urgent action to address these issues.

The PDP is preparing for upcoming elections and aims to ensure a fair campaigning environment for its candidates.
