Delta Youths Endorse Tinubu and Local Leaders for 2027 Elections

Youths in Delta State have shown their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and other candidates from the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general elections. This endorsement was made by the Go Deltans Youth Movement (GDYM) during a gathering on Sunday in Osubi, Okpe Local Government Area.

The group praised the leaders for their commitment to development and announced their support for several candidates, including Senator Ede Dafinone for the Delta Central Senatorial District and Hon. Ramson Onoyake for the Okpe, Sapele, and Uvwie Federal Constituency.

Comrade Matthew Amerika, the leader of GDYM, highlighted the achievements of Governor Oborevwori, particularly in infrastructure development. He mentioned projects like roads, bridges, and flyovers that have been built across the state, which he believes have improved the lives of residents.

Amerika also noted the governor’s efforts in education and job creation, stating that the administration has opened up opportunities for young people and included various groups in its development plans. He emphasized that the governor’s policies have benefited people of all ages and backgrounds.

Another supporter, Mr. Godwin Idama, a carpenter, expressed gratitude for the job opportunities created by ongoing construction projects. He pointed out that these projects have allowed skilled workers to earn a living and have been crucial for those struggling to find work.

The GDYM plans to continue rallying support for their endorsed candidates as the elections approach. They are committed to promoting continuity and development, aiming to advance the interests of both Deltans and Nigerians in the upcoming elections.
