Ekiti Governor Removes All Technical Advisors and Directors-General Before Second Term

In preparation for his second term, Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has dismissed all Technical Advisors and Directors-General of government agencies effective immediately. This decision was announced in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode.

The officials who have been let go are required to submit their handover notes to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government. This move follows the recent dissolution of the State Executive Council.

The statement noted that this action completes the process of removing political appointees from the administration, except for a few who will stay on due to the nature of their work.

Governor Oyebanji expressed gratitude to the dismissed officials for their support and contributions to the state. He wished them well in their future endeavors.
