First Lady Promises Prosperity for Nigeria if President Tinubu is Re-elected
First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu stated that if President Bola Tinubu is re-elected in 2027, he will lead Nigeria from economic reforms to prosperity. She made this announcement on Saturday during the North-Central Mega Rally in Lafia, organized by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to garner support for Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima.
At the rally, Tinubu encouraged party members to engage communities and rally support for their candidates. She highlighted the successes of the Tinubu administration in various sectors, emphasizing the need for continuity to maintain these achievements.
“President Tinubu believes in the unity, security, and prosperity of our nation,” she said. She referenced the President’s Independence Day message, which focused on moving from reforms to prosperity, and noted improvements in the economy, such as decreasing foreign exchange rates and increased investor interest.
She also pointed out the administration’s food support program aimed at providing nutritious meals for children, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers. “We have just finished the food bank program to help ensure that children and mothers receive nutritious food,” she explained.
Additionally, she mentioned that students are benefiting from the government’s education funding initiatives. The First Lady expressed confidence that her husband’s policies would strengthen the economy and enhance security.
She called on party members to share the administration’s policies with Nigerians and highlighted the unity of the APC women’s wing in their campaign efforts. “Vote for continuity, vote for capacity, vote for prosperity, and vote for the re-election of Mr. President and all APC candidates,” she urged.
The rally was hosted by Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa and attended by various political leaders from the North-Central region.
