Governor Aiyedatiwa Reads Riot Act to Ondo APC Members, Warns Against Anti-Party Activities and Factionalism

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has put members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on strict notice, warning that the state leadership will adopt a zero-tolerance policy toward anti-party activities and internal sabotage.

Governor Aiyedatiwa delivered the strong caution during a high-level stakeholders’ meeting in Akure, where party chieftains, local government coordinators, and loyalists gathered to review ongoing political alignments. The governor stressed that maintaining absolute internal cohesion is vital to preserving the party’s dominance and ensuring seamless electoral victories moving forward.

According to the governor, divisive tendencies, covert operations against duly nominated candidates, and the formation of parallel caucuses run contrary to the progressive ethos of the party and will be met with decisive disciplinary measures.

“We must learn to put our collective interests above personal ambitions,” Aiyedatiwa declared. “Anti-party activities under any guise will not be tolerated. Anyone found working to undermine our electoral success from within will face the full weight of the party’s disciplinary framework.”

Aiyedatiwa urged all party leaders, elders, and youth wings to return to their respective wards and unit bases to strengthen grassroots mobilization, resolve lingering internal grievances, and project a unified front to the electorate. Party stakeholders commended the governor’s firm stance, expressing renewed commitment to fostering peace and solidarity across all 18 local government areas of the state.
