The daughters of late Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, known as Ogogo, have revealed their plans to actively pursue acting and filmmaking. They aim to continue their father’s legacy in the Nigerian film industry.

Taiwo Halima Olamide, also called Lima Ogogo, and Shakirat Taiwo, known as Kira Ogogo, shared their intentions in a video posted on Instagram. The video, primarily from Kira’s account, has gained attention from various Nigerian media outlets.

In the video, the sisters expressed gratitude to fans and public figures who supported them after Ogogo’s passing in August 2026. Lima thanked everyone who stood by their family during their time of mourning, saying, “You guys loved our daddy so much. This is an appreciation video to tell you people thank you.”

They acknowledged support from notable individuals, including the First Lady of Nigeria and the Governor of Ogun State, among others. The sisters emphasized that their involvement in the film industry is a long-term commitment, stating, “We are coming to the industry, and we’re here to stay.”

They encouraged fans who enjoyed their father’s films to support their upcoming projects, particularly on Kira’s YouTube channel, KiraOgogoTV.
