Osun Governor Adeleke Vows to Mobilize Votes for Tinubu’s 2027 Re-Election

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has committed to gathering more than 1.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming January 2027 election. He emphasized that his support for candidates from the Accord Party in legislative elections will not change.

Adeleke made this announcement in a post on X after the launch of the Osun State Presidential Campaign Council for Tinubu’s re-election. He stated that a coalition of the Accord Party, All Progressives Congress (APC), and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is working together to ensure Tinubu’s success in the presidential election.

“Our rainbow coalition of Accord, APC and PDP is united solely for President Tinubu’s re-election in the January 2027 presidential election. This partnership does not extend to the legislative elections,” he wrote.

In addition to his electoral commitments, Adeleke addressed the ongoing local government crisis in Osun. He mentioned that negotiations are progressing and that he has received positive assurances from the federal government regarding the situation.

“On the Osun local government crisis, negotiations are at an advanced stage. I have received the assurance of the Federal Government, and there will be positive developments soon,” he said.

Adeleke called on residents to come together across political lines, stressing the importance of unity for the state’s future. “From the pain of the past, we must unite for the prosperity of the future. Together, let us mobilise and deliver Osun for President Tinubu,” he urged.
