Tinubu Must Stay Movement Appoints Former Obi Ally as New Director-General

Marcel Ngogbehei has been named the new Director-General of the Tinubu Must Stay Movement as it prepares for the 2027 general elections. This announcement was made by Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, who leads the movement and expressed confidence in Ngogbehei’s abilities.

Abdullahi, who is also the head of Nigeria’s National Information Technology Development Agency, highlighted his long-standing relationship with Ngogbehei, stating they have worked together for over 25 years on various projects. He praised Ngogbehei’s experience in technology and community leadership, which he believes will benefit the movement.

Ngogbehei has a background in public-sector technology and has held significant roles at Galaxy Backbone Plc and the Central Bank of Nigeria. He has also been involved in initiatives aimed at improving government efficiency and reducing costs. His leadership skills were evident in his previous role as Director of Strategy for the Peter Obi Support Network during the 2023 presidential campaign.

In addition to his political work, Ngogbehei is known for his philanthropic efforts, including founding GiveBack2Humanity, which focuses on youth mentorship and community development. He has also established a center for cancer education and announced a scholarship program to support young people’s education.

The Tinubu Must Stay Movement is now challenging opposition parties to provide concrete policy proposals to address Nigeria’s issues, such as job creation and improving public services. They emphasize that criticism of the current government must come with practical solutions.

As the movement gears up for the upcoming elections, it aims to engage citizens and encourage participation in the political process.
