Western Investors Are Swarming Nigeria Thanks to Tinubu’s Economic Reforms, Says US-Based Business Mogul

United States-based business mogul Dr. John Famodimu has declared that the economic policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu are effectively placing Nigeria back on the global investment map, drawing strong interest from foreign entrepreneurs.

Speaking in Ibadan during a meeting with media executives, the Chief Executive Officer of Rulers’ World Master Communication International shared his recent experience traveling back to the country. He noted that the business class section of his flight was dominated by Western investors eager to explore commercial opportunities in Nigeria, calling it a clear sign of rising international confidence.

However, Famodimu cautioned that the government must actively build a protective and transparent environment to ensure this influx delivers real value. He stressed the importance of improving power supply, strengthening security, cutting administrative red tape, and establishing predictable policies so that foreign partnerships lead to job creation, technology transfer, and local growth rather than economic exploitation.

While acknowledging that the administration’s reform measures have brought short-term financial pressure on ordinary citizens and local businesses, the international investor maintained that consistency is key. He urged policy makers to remain steadfast, noting that with the right supporting measures and infrastructure, the ongoing economic shift will ultimately build long-term economic stability.
