President Tinubu Expresses Condolences for NYSC Board Chairman’s Sister

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shared his condolences following the death of Madam Nkoko Etagbo Eta, who was the elder sister of Ntufam Hilliard Eta, the Chairman of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Governing Board. Madam Eta passed away at the age of 76.

In a message released on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu expressed his sadness and extended his sympathies to the Eta family. He particularly noted the loss felt by Hilliard Eta, who is also a former National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the South-South region.

The President remembered Madam Eta as a devoted Christian leader and loving mother. He highlighted her kindness and dedication to helping others, which had a positive impact on many lives. He also acknowledged her long career in the Federal Civil Service, from which she retired in 2008.

President Tinubu encouraged the family to find strength in the memories of Madam Eta’s life and her contributions to society. He remarked, “Though her passing leaves a painful void, I urge you to find solace in the beautiful memories she created and the faith she lived by.”

As the family prepares for her final rites on October 24, the President offered prayers for them during this difficult time. He said, “May her soul rest in perfect peace.”
