Actress Toyosi Adesanya Shares Her Struggles with Fertility and Surrogacy Journey

Nollywood actress Toyosi Adesanya has opened up about her difficult path to motherhood. In a recent interview, she shared that she underwent five surgeries in 2022 as part of her efforts to conceive a child.

During her interview with Oyinmomo TV, Toyosi discussed her fertility challenges and the emotional support she received from fellow actress Iyabo Ojo. She mentioned that her doctor eventually advised her to stop having more surgeries due to the toll it was taking on her body.

Despite the struggles, Toyosi welcomed a baby girl with her husband, Bola Adejobi, in March 2026. She expressed gratitude for Iyabo’s support during her tough times, including a crisis in her previous marriage.

Toyosi recalled a significant moment in 2014 when Iyabo traveled to confront her ex-husband and others who were making her life difficult. She highlighted Iyabo’s loyalty and support, which made her feel compelled to return the kindness.

After years of trying to conceive, Toyosi and her husband chose surrogacy, which began in 2024. Their journey culminated in the birth of their first child, announced by actress Biola Adebayo.
