Ekiti APC Commences State-Wide Electronic Membership Registration, Aimed at Creating Digital Database and Mobilizing Support for Tinubu’s Agenda
The Ekiti State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) formally rolled out its electronic membership registration and revalidation exercise, signaling an aggressive push to digitize its operations and strengthen its political structure ahead of the 2026/2027 electoral cycle. The exercise commenced with key party leaders registering themselves on the new digital platform.
The state-wide exercise was flagged off by the Acting State Chairman, Sola Elesin, who confirmed that the primary goal is to create a credible, verifiable, and comprehensive digital database of all members across the 16 Local Government Areas. This move aligns with the national party’s directive to modernize membership records to enhance transparency and improve internal democracy.
The Chairman explicitly linked the digital mobilization effort to garnering robust grassroots support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the state leadership under Governor Biodun Oyebanji. Elesin urged all existing members, as well as new individuals interested in joining the party, to utilize the electronic platform to register or update their status, ensuring that the APC remains the most dominant and structurally sound political force in the state. He emphasized that the registration drive is crucial for the party to efficiently communicate and mobilize voters during future elections, guaranteeing the continued success of the party’s programs and the renewal of their political mandates at all levels of government.
