Julius Agwu Reveals Brain Surgery Impacted His Sexual Health

Nigerian comedian and actor Julius Agwu has shared that his sexual health was impacted after he underwent brain surgery in the United States in 2015. He made this revelation during a recent episode of the Beer Parlour Talk Show.

During the show, Agwu discussed the effects of his surgery on his body, career, and personal life. When asked if the surgery affected other parts of his body, he candidly said, “After I do am, prick no dey work again now. He no dey work.”

Other guests on the program, including Mr. Patrick, explained that a nerve involved in the brain surgery might be linked to the issues Agwu described. The discussion focused on how this nerve connects to the brain.

Agwu had the surgery after doctors found three tumors in his brain, one of which was as large as a golf ball. He has previously spoken about his health struggles and their impact on his life and career.

Towards the end of the episode, Agwu expressed his feelings of betrayal and abandonment, saying many of his friends stopped talking to him after his surgery. He reflected on his contributions to Nigerian comedy, particularly in developing music comedy, stating, “Music comedy na me form am o, that is to tell you how my brain dey work.”

Despite these challenges, Agwu remains a significant figure in Nigeria’s comedy scene, known for blending music with comedy in his performances.
