The Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Prof. Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye, has received an Award of Excellent Performance from the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA). This award honors her contributions to industrial growth and the fight against fake and substandard drugs.

The award was presented during NACCIMA’s Breakfast Roundtable Meeting at Providence Hotel in Lagos, where Adeyeye was the guest speaker. The event gathered members of the association, industry leaders, and key stakeholders to discuss regulatory processes, business growth, and public health protection.

In her keynote address, Adeyeye discussed the regulatory reforms implemented under her leadership. She emphasized NAFDAC’s commitment to regulations that are transparent, science-based, and supportive of businesses. She noted that these regulations are designed to ensure that only safe and quality products reach Nigerian consumers.

Participants at the meeting praised Adeyeye for her leadership, particularly her efforts to combat fake drugs and create a better regulatory environment for businesses. They recognized her dedication to protecting public health while also promoting industrial growth in Nigeria.

NACCIMA stated that the award reflects Adeyeye’s outstanding performance and hard work in fighting counterfeit products. The recognition was met with applause from those in attendance.
