Naira Falls Against Dollar at Official Exchange Rate

The Nigerian naira dropped in value compared to the US dollar on Friday, October 19, 2026. It traded at a rate of N1,333.7200 at the Central Bank of Nigeria’s official foreign exchange window.

This rate shows a decrease of about N1.46 from the previous trading day when the naira was valued at N1,332.2582. The closing rate for the naira that day was N1,333.5000 per dollar.

In the black market, the exchange rates remained unchanged from earlier in the week. The buying rate was N1,370 and the selling rate was N1,375 for each dollar.
