NDC Chairman Calls for Grassroots Support Ahead of 2027 Elections
As the 2027 general elections approach, Senator Moses Cleopas Zuwoghe, the National Chairman of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), is encouraging party leaders and supporters to spread the party’s message throughout communities in Nigeria.
During a recent meeting in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Zuwoghe emphasized the importance of unity, discipline, and teamwork among party members. He stated that the party’s strength relies on having active and well-organized grassroots support.
The meeting, held at the His Will Political Family Worldwide headquarters in Yenagoa, included local government and ward executive committee members from all 17 wards. It served as a platform to strengthen the party’s internal structure and discuss strategies for mobilizing support ahead of the elections.
Several candidates for the House of Assembly and House of Representatives also attended the meeting. Zuwoghe urged that every ward must stay active and committed to the NDC’s goals, promoting good governance and leadership that focuses on the people.
He stated, “The journey to 2027 requires commitment, sacrifice, and teamwork. Together, we shall build a formidable political structure in Southern Ijaw and across Bayelsa State.” Zuwoghe highlighted that the party’s success will depend on unity and collective effort among its members.
