Olujuwon Obasanjo Joins Movement Supporting Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election

Olujuwon Obasanjo, the son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has joined the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement as a Special Adviser on Political Affairs. He announced his support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 during a visit to the movement’s headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday.

During his visit, Olujuwon was welcomed by the movement’s National Coordinator, Sunday Asuku, and taken on a tour of the facility to learn about its structure and operations. He described his new role as an honor and praised the group for its efforts in grassroots mobilization and community outreach to promote Tinubu’s administration.

Olujuwon expressed his belief that President Tinubu has made a positive start and emphasized the need for Nigerians, especially the youth, to support ongoing reforms. He pointed out progress in areas like salary payments, infrastructure development, and investment opportunities, stating that these achievements should be maintained.

He also mentioned that he has been a member of the All Progressives Congress since 2014 and noted that his family allows each member to have their own political views without conflict. Asuku welcomed Olujuwon’s experience in politics, saying it would enhance the movement’s efforts across the country.

This development comes as various political groups prepare for the 2027 general election, with Tinubu’s supporters ramping up grassroots efforts for his re-election.
