PSG Secures 3-1 Victory Against Le Mans Ahead of Manchester City Clash
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) celebrated a solid 3-1 victory over Le Mans on October 10, 2026, at the Parc des Princes in Paris. This win marks their third consecutive victory after a slow start to the season.
PSG took the lead with a penalty kick scored by Lucas Beraldo in the first half. However, Le Mans equalized shortly after halftime with a goal from Louis Mafouta.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who started the match on the bench, made an immediate impact by scoring just two minutes after coming on in the second half. Maghnes Akliouche then secured the win for PSG with another goal seven minutes later.
With this victory, PSG climbed to fifth place in the league standings. They now prepare for a challenging match against Manchester City in the Champions League next week. City is currently dealing with the fallout from being found guilty of multiple financial rule violations.
In other league news, Monaco had a chance to extend their lead at the top of the table but ended up drawing 2-2 with Toulouse. They remain just one point ahead of Lille, who won their match against Le Havre 1-0.
