Remi Tinubu Aims for a Better Nigeria by 2031 as She Supports Husband’s Re-election
Nigeria’s First Lady, Remi Tinubu, shared her vision for the future during the inauguration of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement’s headquarters in Abuja. She expressed her desire to leave the Presidential Villa, known as Aso Rock, in 2031 to a country she can enjoy as a woman in her 70s.
Speaking on Friday, she emphasized her wish to see improvements in Nigeria, particularly in travel. “I want to get to the airport. I want to travel, you know, so quickly,” she said, highlighting ongoing changes in the country’s airports.
Remi Tinubu joked that some Nigerians might not notice these changes and suggested they could use “Bola Tinubu eyeglasses” to see the progress. She believes that positive developments are happening in Nigeria, but some may not recognize them.
During the event, she formally commissioned the PBAT movement’s Abuja headquarters and expressed her support for her husband, President Bola Tinubu, as he seeks re-election in 2027. “To the glory of God, and for the victory of Mr. President come 2027, I hereby formally commission the PBAT door-to-door movement campaign headquarters Abuja,” she stated.
