Euston University in Ebonyi Receives Approval for Five Academic Programs

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved five academic programs for Euston University, located in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. This approval follows a successful assessment of the university’s readiness to start classes in the 2026/2027 academic year.

Professor Felicia Moh, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, announced the news in a statement. The approved programs include Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Public Health, Computer Science, and Cybersecurity.

The NUC’s approval came after a team visited the university to check its facilities, equipment, and staff. Professor Moh expressed gratitude to the NUC for their thorough evaluation and emphasized the university’s commitment to maintaining high standards in education.

She also praised Lady Eunice Egwu, the university’s Chancellor, for her vision and investments in providing quality higher education in the region. Moh noted that the university has made significant improvements in its infrastructure and resources to support teaching and research.

With this approval, Euston University is now preparing to welcome students for the upcoming academic session. Professor Moh encouraged prospective students and their families to apply, highlighting that admission spaces are limited.
