Kaduna Prepares for APC Presidential Campaign Kickoff with Tinubu

Kaduna State is ready to welcome President Bola Tinubu for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign kickoff on Saturday. Dr. Hadiza Balarabe, the Deputy Governor and Chairperson of the Local Organising Committee, confirmed this after inspecting the Kaduna Township Stadium, where the event will take place.

Balarabe expressed satisfaction with the preparations, stating that essential facilities like holding areas and restrooms are ready. She mentioned that the only remaining task is marking areas for different states participating in the event.

The committee has also taken security seriously, working with experienced professionals to ensure safety before, during, and after the rally. Attendees will be screened at the entrance to the stadium to ensure a secure environment for everyone.

Officials expect a large crowd of APC members and supporters from across the country, particularly from the North-West, which is a strong area for the ruling party. Malam Ahmed Maiyaki, the Commissioner for Information and Culture, noted that hotels in Kaduna are fully booked as people prepare to attend the event.

Maiyaki described hosting the campaign kickoff as an honor for the state. He emphasized that the rally will allow residents to show their support for Tinubu and the APC. He also highlighted the benefits Kaduna has received from the federal government, including infrastructure projects that have positively impacted the community.
