Ondo State Governor Appoints New Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants

Ondo State Governor, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has appointed new Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) to support his administration. This announcement was made in a statement by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, on Sunday.

Among the new SSAs are Ms Folashade Ogunoye, who will focus on gender issues, and Alhaji Aminu Saidi Tunde, who will handle Islamic religious affairs. Rev Tunde Ogunsuyi has been appointed to oversee Christian religious affairs, while Kemisola Obamoyegun will manage housing. Dr Oluwatobi Aruwajoye will focus on primary health, and Alhaja Mohammed Sikirat Idera will work on Muslim women’s affairs. Additionally, Mrs Ehuwa Victoria Olufunke will address Christian women’s affairs, and Alhaja Fauzart Gidado will be in charge of women mobilization in the central region.

The governor also appointed Alhaji Moshood Kewuyemi as the Chief Imam of the Government House Mosque. Adeniyan mentioned that there are more individuals appointed as Special Assistants, with further details available in the appointment list.

These appointments are part of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s ongoing efforts to strengthen his administration and improve coordination across different sectors. The new roles take effect immediately.
