Oyo South Communities Receive 10 New Transformers to Improve Power Supply

The All Progressives Congress candidate for Oyo South Senatorial District, Hon. Aderemi Oseni, has provided 10 electricity transformers to various communities in the district. This effort aims to improve power supply and support local economic activities.

The transformers will benefit areas in Ido, Ibadan North, and Ibadan South-East Local Government Areas of Oyo State. According to a statement from Oseni’s media aide, Idowu Ayodele, communities such as Jankata and Ajose in Ido, as well as Irepodun/Iwajowa near the University of Ibadan, will receive the new transformers.

Oseni, who is also a member of the House of Representatives, stated that this initiative reflects the needs of the communities within the senatorial district. He acknowledged that residents have been requesting help in various areas, including electricity, water supply, roads, education, and healthcare.

He emphasized the importance of effective representation, which includes engaging with constituents and addressing their developmental needs. Oseni believes that improving essential infrastructure will enhance living conditions and stimulate small businesses.

This recent distribution follows an earlier delivery of five transformers to other communities in Ibadan South-West, Ibadan North, Ibadan North-West, and Ido. The previous recipients included areas such as Oke-Ayo/Odo-Ona and the Baptist community behind NIHORT in Ido.

Oseni assured residents that he would continue to respond to requests from other communities as opportunities arise, highlighting community development as a key focus alongside his legislative duties.
